Guessed that this was way before the Great (values) Party Flip.
After the Flip it was more clear that the pachyderm hides behind "sincere deviance" (long before Nixon-Kissinger; I'll dig that up later) but the asinid hides behind "sacrificial (thusiatic) normativity".
